Duino Castle
A historic castle at the end of the Rilke Trail, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea.

Colle di San Giusto: The historic upper part of the city, home to the medieval cathedral and the panoramic castle.

Faro della Vittoria
The Victory Lighthouse is a majestic historical monument and maritime lighthouse in Trieste. Built between 1923 and 1927, it serves both to guide navigation in the gulf and to commemorate the sailors who fell during the First World War.

Villaggio del Pescatore
An old fishing village, with visits to the Paleontological Site and boat rentals. It also features a small beach and tennis courts.

Grotta Gigante
The Giant Cave is a colossal karst cave located on the Karst plateau. It is famous for hosting the world’s largest single-chamber underground hall, a record that earned it a place in the Guinness World Records.

Miramare
Miramare Castle overlooks the Gulf of Trieste and stands dramatically above the sea: with its eclectic style and white Istrian stone, it is unmistakable from any viewpoint.
Occasionally, evening concerts and events are held there.

Grotte di Slivia e Grotte del Mitreo
A short distance from the accommodation, you can visit two small but characteristic caves.

Isola della Cona
The Isola della Cona is the heart of the Regional Nature Reserve of the Isonzo River Mouth, located in the municipality of Staranzano (Gorizia), in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Considered one of the best birdwatching areas in Italy, it is a protected site of outstanding ecological value, best known for its Camargue horses living in the wild.
