Sea, trails and panoramic views
From the property, you can easily reach some of the most beautiful places in the area, including the sea, scenic hiking trails, and typical Karst landscapes.
Where to Go for the Sea

Canovella degli Zoppoli
One of the most characteristic spots in the area, reachable on foot from the property via the Fishermen’s Path. The descent takes about 15 minutes, while the walk back uphill is more demanding. There is also the Chiringuito bar/restaurant, offering aperitifs, quick lunches, and sunbed and umbrella rentals. Pedestrian access only.
Bagno delle Ginestre
Well-equipped beach establishment with paid access, including rental of a spot (2 sunbeds and an umbrella), and private parking. There is also a bar available for quick lunches. For more information, please visit their website: Ginestre

Baia di Sistiana
A convenient and very popular area, featuring several beaches—both free and equipped—as well as bars and restaurants. About 10 minutes by car. Paid parking is available, as well as kayak rentals.
There are also children’s playgrounds and beach volleyball courts (the latter for a fee).
The bay is also reachable by direct bus from Aurisina Municipio (bus no. 70).
Timetables can be found here: Trieste Trasporti Line 70
Portopiccolo
A more exclusive option, with a beach, swimming pool, and higher-end services. Parking available. Paid access. For more information, please visit their website: Portopiccolo Beach Club

From the farmhouse, three beautiful trails start:
Sentiero della Salvia, towards Santa Croce, an easy route (also suitable for mountain bikes). Approximately 3 km long, very scenic. Partly shaded.

Sentiero dei Pescatori, towards the sea of Canovella. A historic path once used by fishermen to reach the sea.

Tiziana Weiss Lookout Trail, a scenic route recommended with suitable footwear.
Rilke Trail
A short and very scenic panoramic path with stunning sea views.
The trail can be started either from Duino or from Sistiana.
